Frequently asked questions
Can I use it without an AI subscription?
Yes for manual editing — transcription, cutting and captions all work from the app’s interface. The AI-assisted editing features require your own subscription (or API key) for Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
Importing, transcription and export all run locally on your Mac. Your videos are never sent to SeedSpace’s servers. When you use AI features, the information needed for editing (such as the transcript) is sent to the AI service you chose, under your own account.
Does it run on Windows or Intel Macs?
No. Talk Studio runs only on Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later).
What is the price and release date?
